Ruzan S. Palanjyan DownloadThe present dissertation is the first attempt to research for the two significant branches of agriculture of Classical Armenia. The research is based on the combined study of archaeological, archaeobotanical and agro-technological data and the correlated written sources (cuneiform, Greek, Latin, Armenian, etc.). One of the main goals of the work was to reveal the assortment of wines, oils and perfumes produced in Ancient Armenia, as well as to examine the mode of production of these commodities. We also put a problem to collect and analyze the information on exportation of the mentioned goods from Armenia. The dissertation consists of two main parts.
