Areni-1 (Birds’) Cave: Prehistoric Life and Winemaking in the Arpa River Gorge has officially been added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List.
This achievement is the result of vision, persistence and dedicated collaboration. The nomination dossier was developed within the framework of the memorandum signed between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, the Areni-1 Cave Scientific Research Foundation, and the Enotourism Council of Armenia.
